Our History
The story begins in 2021,
When we met, we quickly realised that we had a shared dream of travelling and criss-crossing the roads of a large part of the world in a converted vehicle of some kind – a van, a car, a 4X4, a bus?
After a lot of dreaming, we were caught up in reality and realised that without financing, this project was not feasible.
2 years later, on 20 May 2023, while having a drink during the Namur Festival in May, Clem, as usual, said without really believing it: “Why don’t we go and have a look at the converted vans for sale on the Facebook Marketplace?
That’s when it appeared, with its graaaand yellow muzzle and proud appearance, the doors open to comfort available anywhere, the engine just waiting to stretch its wheels.
We asked the owner straight away for a visit, and instantly fell in love.
The very next day (Tuesday 23 May), we took the plunge and sent an offer at the price! And we didn’t even know whether our loan would be accepted or whether we’d find a suitable plot of land to put it on.
The same day, the offer was accepted and we paid the 10% deposit. The hourglass started ticking… We had 1 month to move it, otherwise we’d lose the deposit and the bus would be put back up for sale.
The race begins. 30 days to sort out all the logistical issues: loan, land, permits, transport, etc., etc.
After long discussions, a lot of effort, hundreds of kilometres of research and countless arguments, we’ve done it and we’re proud to be able to offer you :
THE SCHOOL BUS !!!!
The School Bus represents all our savings and all our energy. It’s a little piece of our dream that we’re offering you to discover, so that one day you might be able to discover the world behind the wheel.
